Obituary:
Christopher Edward DeRoza was born in Salt Lake City, July 31, 1970, and was adopted into his loving family Tom, Peg and big sister Sheri. After a courageous fight to beat his illness, he peacefully passed away on February 17. Even at two years old he was very adventurous. So much so there was a neighborhood watch out for him when he managed to escape with their little dog Cookie. He never got too far but enjoyed going on explorations. At the age of four, the family moved back to their home state, California. His adventures continued the first day of kindergarten. He saw that shiny yellow but, so instead of waiting for Mom, he took a ride to the end of the line. Of course, everyone was frantic, but he was having a great time. On his eight birthday, unbeknownst to Mom and Dad, big sister gave him a dog named Max. Together they loved to explore the hills around their home in Danville, Ca. when he visited Grandpa Gordon and Grandma Lois in Exeter, Rocky hill was his favorite place to roam. At a very young age, Chris was an accomplished artist and continued his painting until his illness. His family will always treasure his beautiful artwork. The pain of losing him at such a young age will be forever in the hearts of those who dearly loved him. His big bear hugs will be missed. He leaves behind the light of his life, Zoey, his partner Jolene and her parents Obie and Sammie Adkins. His loving parents Tom, Peg and sister Sheri (Jimmy) Nieces Jessica and Kasie their daughters, Kaylee, Ellena, and Chy and life long friend Anthony Maestro. Aunts Pat and Pam, Uncle Phil and numerous cousins. He was recently preceded in death by his Grandma Lois with whom he shared a deep and abiding love. There are no arrangements at this time.
