Obituary:
Melodie Ann Webb, 59 of Exeter, passed away on April 15th, 2023 after a short, hard-fought battle with cancer. Melodie was born on Tuesday, September 3rd, 1963 in Lindsay California to Everett and Freddie Webb, she was born premature, hence her nickname Squirt…She spent most of her life in the Exeter area, with a few years in Arkansas, before moving back to be closer to family. Over the years she worked as a medical assistant in different areas, including working as a manager at a board and care, and private care. She also worked as a receptionist for Amarillo Wind Machines. She loved working outside, loved camping and being in the mountains. She also loved being with her kids and her Grandkids. (Who affectionately referred to her as, Ninja Grandma). She was also very close to her Nieces and Nephews, she had personal catchphrases with most of them, such as Koo Koo Kachoo, Road Dog, Kiss My Grits, Whoopacha, and her favorite, (because she loved Betty Boop so much) Boop-Oop-a-Doop, which mean I Love You. She was a monthly supporter of 3 charities: Valley Children’s Hospital, Visalia Rescue Mission, and Saint Jude’s. She was preceded in death by her Father Everett Webb Sr., Mother Freddie (Webb) Jonas, Step Dad Russell Leeper (Pop), Step Dad Larry Jonas, Sister Cathy Sue Webb, Niece Mandi Blake, and Brother-In-Law James Coleman. She leaves behind, her Brother Everett Webb Jr. and Barbara of Exeter, Sister Debbie Coleman of Woodlake, Son Kerry Nesmith Jr. & Tasha of Lindsay, Son Bobby Kulow of Farmersville, Daughter Candace Zapper and Scott of Idaho, Daughter Melodie Pottenger of Idaho, 10 Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and great Nieces & Nephews. She loved everyone and everyone loved her…She will be missed, beyond measure.
