This announcement has been written over and over again; Steve wanted to include everyone in his thanks to family and friends.

To these, he says, "Love:" his dad, Bob, who has gone before him, his mom, Myrl; to his wife Jeanne L Harvey who treasures and loves him dearly; to his sister, Jeanne, and her husband, Josh Blumenthal, and sister Janis and husband Noble Wilcox & family-- Kelli and Dustin; to all of the children -- Jennifer, Alex and Addy Peltzer; Deb, Allyson and Chelsea Metzler; Bill, Sheila, Logan and Emma Garrison; Cindy, Chris, Jeff and Mark Nelson, Nick and Natalie Story; to sister-in-law, Ann Souza, and father-in-law, William Garrison -- cherished memories of all.

This announcement will be read by many that knew Steve -- each knew a different side -- and they'll smile.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Exeter Public Cemetery District. My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Steve. I worked closely with Steve for many years. He was the best surveyor I ever worked with and was responsible for helping to modernize the Tulare County surveying system.

Goodbye Uncle Steve! I have so many loving memories of your giving kindness! It was you who inspired me to live life a little more everyday! You always encouraged me to do what makes me happy! Jeanne- you truly are his one of a kind, and I send my love from across the World and big arms to give you a hug! I'm sorry I can't be with all of you at this time, but please know I miss Steve and all of you just the same! Life reminds me everyday to hold those we love a little closer to our hearts!
