Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Evans Miler Guinn Chapel. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Exeter District Cemetery.

Obituary:
Harley Elvis Davenport was born on March 3, 1925 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Jess and Martha (Guinn) Davenport. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He married the former Marjorie Simmons in 1954. They have made their home in Farmersville in the same house for 58 years. He was a Union Plumber for over 50 years. Harley loved to fish and owned a houseboat at Lake Kaweah for many years. He had a special love for his Animals. He is preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
Harley is survived by his wife Marjorie of Farmersville; one son Jerry Dillard of Paso Robles; one daughter Shirley King of Visalia; three grandchildren Laura Broom, Jeff Whitter and Andrea Kelly; three great grandchildren Jeremy Broom, Samantha Whitter and Madison Kelly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

MYself and my entire family have lived just down the block from harley for 49 yrs, he was nicest guy you could know him his wife and his son just great people, We will miss him so very much, you could ask harley a plumbing question and he would help you out!!. His wife was the biggest pet lover I knew she always had her little cuhwawa with her. God love them both.
