Visitation Information:
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM in the Chapel. Mass will be offered on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Exeter District Cemetery.

Obituary:
Carmelo Martinez the youngest son to Jesus and Rafaela Martinez went on to be with his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2014, surrounded by his beloved family. Born August 10, 1965 in Tulare and residing all of his young life in the community of Lindcove where he lived out his last days.

Carmelo was a self-employed landscaper, and his biggest dream was that someday he could turn his business over to his sons. His biggest joy in life were his children Alex, Elena, Raymond, and Adam. He gives a new definition to the word love of his grandsons Anthony Martinez and Elias Martinez. His only sadness is missing out on seeing his new grandchild due in February by his daughter Elena. Carmelo is preceded in death by his father Jesus Martinez, sisters Maria Calvillo, Amalia Lombera, Margarita Presiado, Manuela Cuevas, Gloria Martinez and Senorina Saling. Brothers Miguel Martinez, and Johnny Martinez.

Besides his children Carmelo leaves behind his companion Susan DeLong who was so instrumental in honoring his last wish, to be at home one last time. Furthermore he leaves behind his mother Rafaela Martinez of Lindcove, Sisters Toni Mata (Lucio) of Woodlake, Rosa Martinez of Lindcove, and Guadalupe Hernandez of Kingsburg, Brothers Jose Martinez (Armida) of Woodlake, Richard Martinez (Shirley) also of Woodlake, Manuel Martinez (Margret) of Lindsay, Julian Martinez (Pilar) of Lindcove, and Jesse Martinez of Visalia. He also leaves behind numerous nephews and nieces.
