A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Evans Miller Guinn Chapel. Burial will be private in the Exeter District Cemetery.

Obituary:
Rose Jean Brown was born in Vancouver, WA on April 8, 1941 to Lyle and Jean (Brown) Dunn. She attended schools there and was both the Senior Class President and Valedictorian for her graduating class. Her and her husband, James “Jim” Johnson moved to Tulare County in 1974 living in Farmersville and Goshen before moving to Exeter in 1981. She worked for the County of Tulare as a Home Health Care Provider for many years. Rose was a member of Rocky Hill Community Church in Exeter. She loved taking care of her family and extended family. Rose was very outspoken and you never guessed where you stood with her. She enjoyed her poker nights, her get togethers and pot luck. Rose founded the Santa Anonymous Club and was a member of the YAYA Sisterhood, which she loved to be with. Rose is preceded in death by one son, Mark J. Brown and one Granddaughter Rosanne Fierro.
Rose is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Johnson of Exeter; two sons Michael Johnson (Carole) of Exeter and Robert Brown; three daughters Linda Bagniefski (Terry) of Exeter, Sharon Ibarra of Visalia and Janet (Chris) Kittle of Lugoff, SC. She is also survived by her grand daughter that she raised, Delilah Marquez along with 45 other grandchildren and great grandchild. She was expecting her first great great grandchild in March.

My dear Rose, you will be greatly missed by all hearts you have touched in your lifetime. The Ya Ya sisters will not be the same without you. I will think of you often.
