Phyllis Holmberg was a very quiet Christian woman. Over the years she not only attended Valley Christian Church but participated by playing the piano during service and going to Bible studies on Wednesdays. She will be missed. Your church friends, Deanna and Gary Barnes

I met Phyllis when I was a student in the Cherry Avenue Orchestra. I knew her then as "Eric's Mom," but she later became one of my favorite piano instructors. Her love of music and her sense of humor are two of the things I will always remember about Phyllis. Studying Bach's Inventions with her helped me later on when I began harpsichord lessons at Fresno Pacific. Glad to know that she was still teaching music---she will be missed.
